Layne Millican, a 2014 graduate, proudly serves in the United States Marine Corps with nine years of active duty service and counting. He has earned three Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals in recognition of his dedication and hard work. Some of his favorite memories include spending time with friends Dom and the McBrides, and he fondly remembers Mrs. Caruthers for creating a fun, supportive classroom where students truly felt cared for. His advice to students is simple and powerful: don’t hesitate or second-guess yourself, take the leap of faith, and enjoy life.
