Mission Statement
The DISD RtI System promotes an integrated, proactive approach to providing high-quality, research-based instruction, aligned to the district’s curriculum. These high-quality instructional practices will create appropriate learning opportunities designed to meet the needs of all learners, from early childhood through high school. The RtI process utilizes an integrated problem-solving framework to identify and address academic and behavioral needs of students. Frequent, appropriate assessments designed to measure learning rate over time guide the data-driven decision making process.
