Welcome to Dayton ISD. Please use this form only if you are a parent or guardian of an out of district student. This form may be used for a student transfer from another district for limited open enrollment or as a renewal transfer.
Dayton ISD: Student Transfer Agreement 2023-2024
A transfer that would limit the educational opportunities of resident students shall not be approved. Admitting a transfer student shall not require more than a minor adjustment to the existing programs offered by the District. In approving transfers, the Superintendent or designee shall consider availability of space and instructional staff, the student's disciplinary history, and attendance/tardy records.
The Superintendent has the authority to accept or reject any transfer request, provided that such action is without regard to race, religion, color, sex, disability, or national origin.
REVOCATION: The Superintendent or designee has the authority to revoke transfers. Transfer students shall follow all rules and regulations of the District, including, but not limited to, district policies and regulations, the Student Code of Conduct, and attendance requirements. Any other disruptions by the student or parent/guardian that interfere with the school's daily operation may result in the transfer being revoked.
