Tasks/objectives your child should be able to successfully complete on their own:

1. Recognize letters
2. Know what sound the lettters make
3. Blend letters together in order to read words
4. Write all letters legibly (no backward letters)
5. Write a simple sentence using correct spacing, capitals & punctuation
6. Recognize numbers through 100
7. Count to 100 by 1's, 2's, 5's & 10's
8. Write numbers legibly (no backward numbers)
9. Recognize and know the value of a penny, nickel & dime
10. Solve simple addition & subtraction problems using concrete manipulatives (such as cubes, cheeriow, coins, etc)
