The funds are used to purchase items supplementing the athletic department budget. Some items purchased include uniforms, equipment, and maintenance materials of fields. In addition to these purchases, the club provides scholarships for graduating seniors who have participated in the athletic program. The number of scholarships awarded are based upon the amount of funds collected each year. In the past two years, ten scholarships have been awarded.
The club's primary source of income is from the concession stands manned by the club's members. The club hosts both the fall and spring athletic banquets to recognize all students who participate in athletics, as well as the cheerleaders who support the athletic programs. The club also holds its only fundraiser with its annual oyster supper held in January. The only purpose, goal, and mission is to assist the athletic department in meeting its needs.
