The PFL Challenge is an opportunity for students to demonstrate their knowledge of personal finance by competing with other students across the state in a three-round competition that tests their knowledge of Income and Money Management, Spending and Credit, and Saving and Investing. Dayton ISD's Nottingham Middle School Team, Team Purple, won first place in the Texas Middle School Division of the challenge. Nottingham's Team Smarties took second place. Both teams were coached by Ms. Kristie Follett. The team members and teacher all won cash prizes. 129 teams and 441 students across the state competed this year. Congratulations to the students and their teacher.
