Project
TEAM was a three-year project funded through the Texas Edcuation
Agency TARGET grant.
The project received approximately $850,000 the first year, $425,000
the second year and $212,000 the third and final year.
There were three main goals of the TEAM project: (1) increase levels
of understanding and patterns of use of technology for professional
educators in high-need and mentor districts, (2) integrate Technology
Application TEKS into the elementary curriculum with a special emphasis
in mathematics, and (3) improve patterns of student use of technology
to increase student achievement.
The following
school districts were partners in Project TEAM: Dayton ISD (fiscal
agent), Coldspring-Oakhurst CISD, Huffman ISD, Hull-Daisetta ISD,
Onalaska ISD, and Tarkington ISD.
Three fourth
grade lessons and three fifth grade lessons were created and implemented
by math teachers across the six-district partnership. |
